SuperString Artist Patrick
Thomas is opening for the famed Black Crowes, N.
Mississippi Allstars, and Govt. Mule at the City Stages Festival
in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday June 19th. The East Coast
tour scheduled for the follwing week has become a Southern
Tour as well. Patrick's band has been kicking it out all along
the East Coast, the Midwest, and at such Southwest venues
as South By Southwest, so it is no surprise to us that he
and the Theory were selected to open at this special event.
Patrick's talent is reflected in the five Detroit Music Awards
he was nominated for when his album, "Ghost Town Radio"
was released last year, including Best New Artist and Best
Pop-Rock Recording, as well as his winning the coveted Best
New Artist Award at Royal Oak venue Memphis Smoke. Patrick
is currently in the studio working on new material, and it's
looking to be even better than his first release.

In addition, Patrick
has been selected (along with SuperString artist Katrina Mari)
for inclusion in a prestigious
web music campaign
sponsored by a major beer company. Stay tuned for more details!
In all, we're pretty proud of what Patrick has accomplished
in a short time, and we are eagerly looking forward to more
great things from him. There's a huge buzz developing about
Patrick and his band, and it's well-deserved. You can check
out the band's tour schedule by clicking the link on our "schedule"
page.
